This image is one of the better visual treats I've seen with a nice blanket of snow in Arches National Park. I had been dreaming of taking this shot for many years. With a lot of anticipation build up over the years, it was so gratifying to have the conditions align just right. This is clearly one of my most favorite scenes I have had the privilege to witness and photograph. As with a lot of my "grand" landscape images, I really prefer the soft glow well after the sun has set as it just imparts such pleasing light. On the technical side to achieve this composition, I stitched together three images.
Equipment: Nikon 810, Nikon 80-200mm
Living in Colorado allows me to access landscapes from deserts to tundra. It hard not to be inspired by this part of the country and want to capture its beauty.
