Whilst most people had waited over 2 hours to see the Grand Geyser erupt, we planned it just right, waiting only a few minutes to watch this spectacular sight that was made even more memorable with the amazing, dramatic conditions.

The light and the sky make this so dramatic. At first glance I thought it was a fire.

Great contrast between the geyser and the threatening sky. And how fortunate you were to photograph each of the USA National Parks, most Americans have not seen them all.
