Forte Aurora Tra Neve E Nuvole
by Federico Zeni
A memory of the trip to the Lofoten Islands in January 2015. An evening where the Aurora Borealis has given the best of themselves for over four hours, an evening I will never forget.
Photographed in Flakstad, Lofoten Islands, Norway.
Equipment: Canon EOS 5D Mark III + Canon EF 16-35mm f/2,8L IS USM II
I am an amateur naturalist photographer since 2005 and has always been a lover of nature. In the early years, I developed mainly shooting wildlife and birdlife of the area where I live (Padana Valley) trying to capture the most special moments of the animals in complete freedom.
After some years i approached the macro making it become quickly my favorite kind which is still developing more and more constantly for the whole year.
Lately i have expanded the horizons to landscape photography and night with good commitment and to the extent possible. I love trekking mountain to get to places forgotten by god and the inimitable landscapes.
I spend a long time in post production and use of software for photo editing, I consider this essential stage in the photographic process to get to satisfactory results in the digital age. I am a lover of the warm colors of golden light and detail, three members of which are always on the lookout.
Using equipment of medium-high level combined with good technique acquired over the years enables me to get to many of the desired results.
I wish you a good view of the site at all.
