I find nature's miracles simply astounding. Photographed in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I am an amatuer photographer with a passion for wildlife and macro. My addiction started a few years ago when a friend sold me her 7D at a ridiculously low price. I work in the corporate world but would love to be able to live my dream of living in the bush and sharing my passion with others.

This is so striking, so gorgeous. Wish you had told us what kind of flower it is, it’s so lovely.

Fabulous shot. Thanks for sharing. Is it a passion flower? It looks like a composite of some sort.

This is a wonderful photo. At first I thought it might be a dahlia (the flower of many faces), but I think it doesn’t have enough petals. Lovely shot, whatever it is.

It looks like an African daisy to me. Whatever it is, this is an absolutely perfectly beautiful photo. The detail just takes my breath away and the contrast against the black background is so perfect against the white petals.

This makes you really look at the shapes in the flower, wonderful.
