For the past several months I haven't really allowed myself to make any new images until I finished preparing for my first ever gallery show. Well.. the hard work of preparing is over so I ventured out in a serious fashion this day to catch the minimal autumn colors we've had with some brotogs. We met up at the powerful Spirit Falls, and for the first time in a long time I was able to immerse myself in capturing images. And did it feel good. Yes.. the water really is that blue.

This photo captures the beauty and abundance of one of our most valuable resources and one that is most often taken for granted. Comment from WV where we are suffering from a chemical spill in the beautiful Elk River and has impacted the water supply of about seven counties.
