Is this supposed to be art?

My congratulations Enrico for your excellent win. Well deserved!
And glad to see this type of work acknowledged here. Kudos to the Judge for selecting something different and beautiful as this.

One word: breathtaking!

Gee, I wonder if I could get the same effect with Instagram. ;)

Just kidding!

Ditto Truman Sharp above – how’d you do it?

“Photo of the day contest”?

How much manipulation of an image is required before it’s not longer a photo?

Nice abstract; lovely colours.

Great image Enrico….@ Stewart/Truman…this type of image and technique is created by camera movement and not in post processing.

Nice modern art – in the right place. I agree with Stewart’s remark, however.

What a fantastic image. Did you create this by slowing the shutter speed down and moving your camera?

It’s wonderful….if only it’s a painting.

But to be called as a photography piece, i might say it’s too much manipulation in this picture (like Stewart said before).

But i don’t know if it’s been hardcorely photoshopped, or your photagraphy skill is that high. But if that so (your photography skill is that high), well then congratulations :)

But however it’s a wonderful piece of art, besides painting or photo :)

Thanks for all comments!! I’m so happy that my photo has been selected as “Photo of The Day”!! I would like to specify that I’ve tried to keep the postproduction process as less invasive as possible, so I’ve only increased the saturation and contrast value. I’ve created this effect only by moving camera while I was shooting. (Exp: 1/5″)
