Galea

by Matthew Feeser

'Galea' is the Latin term for a Roman Centurion's helmet, of which this looks exactly like! This is my recent favorite of my expeditions in photographing the fan waves up on the north shore, my wintertime obsession! This shot was taken while I was having a nice chat with the lovely Ms. Maryna Veda on some rocks. Or she was off dancing on the rocks in the warm light of the sunset...I can't recall ;) I any case, a lovely night with lovely company and incredible wave action. Enjoy! That's an order!
Equipment: Nikon D7000 - 28-300mm

Can’t even believe how beautiful this is. Yes, you were lucky but it took talent to photograph the image. Kudos on a winner. And,,,,love the title too.

Absolutely beautiful…exquisite! I hear your smile in “that’s an order,” yet I prefer the gentleness of “that’s an invitation.” :-)

Scatto incredibile e stupefacente!! Il gioco d’acqua già difficile da riprendere nella forma è attraversato dalla luce che lo blocca come una colata di vetro. COMPLIMENTI

I just went through your gallery and so loved seeing all the marvelous images – especially the dazzling lightning shows that Kauai puts on, and the beautiful Na Pali coast. Thanks for sharing your beautiful vision of Kauai with us!
