Ice Invasion
by Jeffrey Groeneweg
The ice on the famous beach of Jokulsarlon will slowly melt when the waves hit the ice, just a lovely site to photograph around on this beach everywhere you look there is ice. After waiting for 2 hours in the rain it suddenly stops and I went out of the car to shoot some nice shots with the dark clouds in the background.
Equipment: Canon EOS 7D Sigma 10-20 mm

I am Jeffrey Groeneweg born in 1987 and photographer since 1999 and always inspired by nature and differnet types of weather to photograph.I live in Maasdam a small village in the Netherlands. I like to travel to different places in the world like Iceland, America, Europe, Africa. My specialism is sunrise and sunset photographing.
I started a own company in photofinishing products and photographing weddings in the year 2007 and this is now a well current company.
I like to inspire other people with my photos because behind every picture there is another story...

As much as I admire a photogrqphers ability to make our world look surreal, I love things to look real. I don’t have the talent other than my eyes to capture beauty. You have saved it for all time!

I can just feel the cold in this shot! Cold, but oh so beautiful. I also loved reading about you and what you’re doing, that makes it even more \special. Thanks.
