Companions of Darkness

Decided to shoot galaxy at White Pockets. I got up very early and walked in there. Even with the help of GPS, I could not figure out the exact location I scouted during the day. Fortunately, this is White Pockets, I can just setup my camera and shoot in any direction. It will turn out just fine :D

amazing!!! Milky way exposures are just gorgeous when properly executed. I love the twist on the norm here with the monotone effect. Great job =)

It’s just stunning, the whole composition. Glad someone mentioned it was in Utah as that was one of the first things I wondered about. Utah has fantastic scenery, and this picture proves it. Love the Milky Way, the way it rises out of the land. Thanks for a beautiful shot.
