Nellie Creek Waterfall
by Tad Bowman
This photograph depicts Nellie Creek Falls in the Colorado Mountains with brilliant fall colors. This was a more challenging shot than I thought due to the wind. I took numerous shots and waited about an hour and a half for the wind to die down.

We were so lucky to be in the Leadville/Buena Vista area this past fall to see the gorgeous display of Aspen color. Your photo captures this and so much more. Your patience has been rewarded!

Beautiful, Tad. I photograhed fall colors in Colorado
last autumn, and your image inspires me to return.

Early Fall is my very favorite time of the year—mainly because of all the vibrant colors. You’ve done a fantastic job capturing these colors. If I didn’t know better, I’d say this photo was taken in the ‘Great Northwest.’ Keep up the great work, Tad.
