There was a similar photo shown on this website awhile back that i use as my desktop and everyone who sees it thinks that the rocks are brownies. I love it Very surreal…

Unbelievable colours! I mean actually not to be believed. Sorry, but the white and pink to the right of centre are just what MS Picture Manager does to my sunsets if I press ‘Auto correct’. Nice picture but not quite true.

great shot. Do not agree with above comment … as colours do not necessarily need to be “true” or “in line with reality” Take a look at the pictures made by “The Master”, Ansel Adams.
Don’t think these tones and contrasts are “true” but are a result of mastering the techniques of measuring light, exposing the film and printing… Same goes for colours of today’s digital images….

A very carefully though composition here. The long exposure and the color of the sunset work well together and really make this a winner !

Great capture. If one was not told that was the ocean, one could easily imagine those rocks being the tops of cliffs and the water being fog coming from the valley floor.
