As the Storm Breaks…
by Paul Marcellini
As a summer storm dissolves at sunset, the light breaks through and illuminates the landscape in a warm glow. The pinelands in the Everglades are a globally imperiled habitat, reduced to less than 10% of their original size.

I grew up in Miami & lived in Kendall from 1956-60′. At that time, west of our new sub-division was undeveloped to Hwy 27. When I looked out my front door, this is what I saw every morning. For a child, there was so much to explore! Thank you for the beautiful memory. It is so sad to know that so much has been lost.

Outstanding image Paul ! The warner tones with the foreground green has become a signature of yours. The sunburst also is really cool here !
