This is a lovely shot but it raises several questions, like: why is the fog “warm? How do two people take a photo?

Hey everyone – thanks for the comments and sorry for the late reply, it seems the recipe for getting a photo chosen on earthshots is to be away at the time, Norway was fantastic
Bronwyn, the fog was warm in colour temperature, not actual temperature. This was caused by the setting sun. My wife and I travel and shoot together, very often, in post production, we’re not sure who took the photo, so it makes more sense to just combine our efforts into one entity.
