My goodness what an angle. The contrast from the bow of the icebraker and the snow and ice around the vessel makes this a remarkable photograph.

Beyond gorgeous! Spent thirteen months in Arctic in the middle Seventies and it NEVER looked this beautiful, forboding and forbidding all at the same time. Wonderful shot!

Jeez that’s one hell of an angle. What I really love is the contrast between the green and the white. Composition is perfect!

Great perspective! Looks very cold, but I love the green of the ship – it breaks up the monogamy of the white sky and sea.

What an optical treat – I would love to see this photo blown up to mural size on a wall.
I’m sure it would give one a certain degree of vertigo. It’s almost like getting to the top of that first big hill on a roller coaster – just as you come over the top. Weeeeeeeeee!
