Sierra Summer Storm

Just as a summer storm was approaching the area in the morning hours, I set up in
an area with an Arch to capture some lightning as it was hitting the Sierra Nevada range.

Photography has been in my heart from the day I picked up a film camera. I've evolved into the photo enthusiast that I am now. I work full time but can do the photography when I have some spare time. Life is but a quick moment, I try to capture it as I see it. Hope all you can enjoy what I try to convey in my images.

Striking shot!! One thing that caught my attention was the almost “picture perfect” lightning bolt. It looks like the ones we always see depicted, but this is nature’s doing. Wonderful. Also you can “feel” the calm before the storm in this shot.
