My name is Evgeny Vasenev. I am a professional photographer, designer and blogger.
I was born in Siberia, Russia. But most of my life I lived in the Southern part of Russia, in Krasnodar. I established my own design studio "Airos", but also travelled a lot, worked as an event photographer. I love snowboarding and mountain biking, mountain climbing.
Currently in live in Sunnyvale, California.
My favorite genre of photography is extreme sport. I love beautiful landscapes, taking pictures while traveling. Besides that I work during events, live concerts, festivals, make photo reports of diverse events. I am very passionate about my work and value quality.

What a surprise! After several years of enjoying unique, exotic places around the world on earthshots, I finally recognize the location of a POTD! My first view of Lake Maurepas was as a child in the 1960s when my family ate at Middendorf’s Restaurant in Manchac, LA, while on vacation. Now, I cross Lake Maurepas a few times per year!
Your beautiful photo is so serene. I love the contrast between the pastel hues and the stark silhouette of the bald cypress tree with Spanish moss blowing in the breeze.
