Most unusual the way you have captured Half Dome and that part of the valley. The lighting is excellent.

The hardest task in photography is choosing a good angle. This shot does not have a good aerial perspective, instead the lighting in tone and the strong pink in the base of the mountains imply depth. Ellie’s sky texture and the valley below draws the eye into the distant horizon also creating depth.

Love your detail and composition. Had the privilege to work on Glacier Point for three amazing years and see Half Dome’s many moods from this perspective. But when Tenaya Peak is clearly visible in the distance like this, there’s snow in the high country, and then the alpenglow starts to turn everything rosy…it’s magical. Nice capture.
