East Fjords

by John & Tina Reid

I like your use of a slow shutter speed to create an evocative movement in the tide which really adds to the mood of this photo. You have perfected the light and colour too, well done.

Absolutely Beautiful, Great shot John & Tina. Art Painters try to make their work look like photography, and we photographers try to make our work look like painted art, you have truly accomplished an excellent work of art!

Beautiful shot. An very unusual angle on this magnifiicient mountain. Love the dramatic and colorful cloud formations you got.

15th August 2011 at 8:21 pm

Just breath taking! Looks like the clouds are still clinging to the moutains and don’t want to let go. We have the same problem here in the Pacific Northwest and our beloved Mount Rainier. Thank you for sharing ;)

Thanks for commenting on this picture – missed them all as we’ve been in Iceland for round 2. Iceland is the kind of country where you just pitch up and hit the shutter button, no gimmickery needed!
