I have seriously got into photography the last few years, mainly due to the quality and ease of digital. I enjoy taking shots on my travels, locally and abroad. photography has allowed me to 'see' scenes i wouldn't normally notice...

Were you on a surf board while taking this shot? I can’t imagine how you could of accomplished such a great shot. Being 74 I never will experience the ride of a wave and it is absolutely beautiful to look at. I love the ocean and respect its power, live on the coast of Maine…thank you for sharing.

Wow!!! This is an amazing shot. You obviously shot this while surfing. I have a hard enough time shooting on solid ground, without having to balance on a surf board. This is amazing. You definitely deserve photo of the day. I urge you to post this photo on line in other contests. i’m sure you would win.

Wow, many people underestimated the effort taken to get this shot. Its not just great shot its a an amazing one. I can imagine how many times you got soken wet until you got it perfect :) . Appreciate your effort.
