Speed of Silence
by Guy Tal
It feels sometimes as if there's motion in the stillness and a whole symphony in the silence of these beautiful sculpted rocks.

I am a professional photographer, writer, and naturalist living and working in the Colorado Plateau - a scenic and diverse desert region of the western United States spanning an area larger than most countries and states. Over the years, this magical and endangered landscape had not only been my home but also my sanctuary and my main source of inspiration. It is my goal as a person, as a writer, and as an artist, to promote and to share its wild beauty, and advocate for its preservation. It is a place like no other - a treasure for the soul that future generations deserve to experience in its wild state as we have been privileged to.

Amazing; I love the colors; it might be worth turning it 90 degrees as then the feeling of speed would be taking you uphill, like a roller coaster.

Another spectacular shot. Those rocks are really something, aren’t they? I see “fabric” in this one, what a gorgeous tablecloth it would make…

The textures, colors and depth of this keep me continually intrigued. The lack of anything for sense of scale adds to its mystique! Fabulous in every way!!

FAR OUT!
At first sight, thought you magnified and enhanced some place in the cardio vascular system.
Literally Groovy. Felt like a red-blood cell blasting into space.
Sensational colors!

I too, hear the Silence. The more you look and go into this beautiful shot, I feel the more we return to our beginnings..
