Coastal Motion
by Jim Patterson
I was amazed at the rock formations and how untouched this little stretch of coast was. I even saw deer hoof prints in the sand. Of course, some people own houses that over look this stretch of beach, so there are a few others who know of its beauty.
I vowed to return when there were better conditions (ie sunset) and I got my chance a couple weeks later. A pocket of clouds was forming up the coast despite the clear blue skies telling me to stay home. This image was made well after sunset when the light level was low.

Absolutely stunning. I love how the clouds in motion create lines that nearly mirror the lines of the rock formations all leading to a single focal point. Great execution.
