D. Robert Franz has been a full time professional wildlife photographer for 25 years. With formal training in wildlife management and geology he has extensive knowledge of the natural world. In 2001 and 2004 Robert had winning images in the “Nature’s Best” photography contest. In 2006, 2008 & 2010 Robert finished 2nd in the Images for Conservation l Pro Tour of Nature Photography contest. This is the world’s richest photo contest. In 2007 Digital Photography Magazine proclaimed Robert as one the world's best wildlife photographers.
