Moulton Barn Winter
by Scott Hotaling
The Moulton Barn is an iconic scene in Grand Teton National Park. During the summer, hordes of photographers line the roadway waiting for the sunrise over the mountains. But, in winter, roads are closed and few people venture to this location. A fantastic sunrise after a fresh layer of snow fell in the mountains provided a great backdrop for this unusual take on an icon.

The gentle warm colors have lent the barn-wood a tactile quality which contrasts beautifully with the otherworldly impression of the mountains in the backdrop. A delightful image!
