Dogwoods on Silk

Every May, the Yosemite Valley is graced with groves of delicate white dogwood blossoms as the trees reawaken for spring. Many overhang the rushing Merced River, which is where I got this image. I chose a long shutter speed to smooth out the raging water, and the result reminded me of a length of silk.
