Russ Bishop photographs and writes about the American landscape with an eye for detail and drama. After receiving his bachelor's degree in broadcasting, he worked for CBS Television for many years before devoting himself to a life-long passion of photographing the natural world. His award-winning imagery has appeared in advertisements, posters, books, and national publications with clients that include National Geographic, Sierra Club, Hughes Corporation, Toshiba, Sunset, and Rodale Press. He lives in Ventura, California with his wife and two children.
