Moccasin Snake
by Paul Marcellini
I had to add to my wide-angle wildlife with this little moccasin out at Robert's Lake Strand, Florida. Also saw a bear and many other wonderful swamp creatures. 9 miles sure left my legs and feet feeling it though. This was at my minimum focusing distance at 35mm. He was a nice one though!

I’m a snake fan myself, but have to admit I’ve never encountered a poisoness one in the wild…lovely snake, great shot!

Wow! Lovely shot.

Great shot. As a fellow Floridian, I’ve heard moccasins will crawl over cut glass to get their mark. Careful as you go!
