I love albatrosses(spelling?). And you got a great angle on this one. Not the typical bird shot.

That has got to be one of the funniest photo’s I’ve ever seen.

He certainly got up nice and close. When I cared for injured seabirds they weren’t scared of people at all, very curious of us.

Congrats for this one – I’ve never seen the pupil of an albatross before and how about that tiny drop of water on the base of his neck! Such detail!

You certainly titled this one right. I got a chuckle out of it, and the detail is amazing.

Some birds just make you laugh. You must have been in the sea, – or getting your hair wet.

Albatross can weigh up to 25 lbs. They were generally long-lived (60 yrs) bird ; Unfortunately, Nineteen of the 21 species of albatross are globally threatened with extinction by being trapped by longliner vessels. They are attracted to the bait, get hooked, dragged under and are drowned. Quite a shame for all of us!
