Los Cuernos del Paine

by Ian Plant

This photo was taken on the last day of my "Epic Patagonia" workshop. During the night, rainy skies parted just in time for a picture-perfect sunrise. What a great way to end a 10-day journey through Patagonia! More information about how the image was made can be found on my blog. Torres del Paine National Park, Chile
Equipment: Canon 5DII, 24-105mm lens, tripod

In all the 115 countries I have visited – this is one of the most dramatic areas I have ever been to – in fact my main reason for going to Patagonia a couple of years ago. A most stunning photo of the glories of nature.
