Jump!

by Matt Hansen

For my ongoing "Uniquely D.C." project, my goal is to photograph all the monuments/landmarks in original and unique ways. Not knowing how to photograph The Lincoln Memorial, I simply fell upon a family of Mallards and began shooting. Before long, the runt of the family headed towards the wall and I knew what was coming...click! Washington D.C. ƒ/5.6, 1/1250, 125mm, ISO1250.
Equipment: Nikon D700. Niikon Nikkor 55-200mm. Handheld
