97% Human

by Arthur Xanthopoulos

This image is one of a series called 97% human. Given that orang-utans share approximately 97% of the human genome I wanted to capture that essence through composition and photo editing effects. Melbourne Zoo

He is a beautiful creature, but he is not part human. And man is not an animal. God created mankind with a soul, and that’s especially what separates him from the animals.

This orang-utan does look strangely familiar. Maybe it’s something in the eyes. Love it!
