Skiing in Blizzard

This time I shot the trigger in a blizzard crossing a mountain area on skiies with my class... The combination of the snow blowing everywhere and a very spesial light from the sun breaking though the sky made an incredibale sceene. After taking this photo I had to run after my class, so I didn´t loose them in the snowstorm...

I am an 18 year old man from Norway who has been photographing fore about three years. I just won tha prises "YPA Emeging talent" and the "Big World, Small World - People class in Young TPOTY. Exept from that I am finishing my last year in highschool and love outdoor activeties.

Ivar, As a first generation Norwegian-American, I grew up hearing stories of my dad’s life in Norge. I empathize with these skiers as the ice pellets sting their eyes. The red adds to the drama, a warm color on a cold landscape. This shot hit home for me on many levels. Man and Earth. Perfect. Congratulations. Keep shooting.
