I really like the inclusion of the mailbox. It makes the road feel connected to the world, not lonely or remote. It also helps me appreciate the scale of the trees. They are taller than I would have guessed. Very nice.

The picture itself is impressive. There’s a sense of realism involved. The trees, snowfall, the street and yes, the mailbox… Some kind of nostalgia with a realistic touch. Beautiful and nicely done indeed… That’s A-1 and congratulations!

Having once lived in NE Ohio for a year, this reminds me of our first snow, “a light dusting”. A few days later came “lake effect snow”, non-stop, 3 feet in 36 hours. Chagrin Falls, to our west, got 5 and a half feet and needed the National Guard to dig them out.

As cold as it was, and as isolating as they could be, the snows were always beautiful. You’ve captured it well.
