I have been fascinated with eye-catching and breath-taking photos of the natural world for as long as I can remember. I don't know why it took me so long to pick up my first DSLR camera, but when I did, it all just clicked for me (pun intended). Join me on my blog as I share my various experiences in and around the Southern African landscape and wilderness with you...

It’s nice to see something that isn’t snowy just at the moment.

Well-captured!

This is so peaceful feeling! I want to go in the valley between the two large rocks and peer over the side. Is there a large canyon floor beyond? I like the what’s-over-there feeling of it. Very nice – thank you for sharing and congrats on Photo of the Day!

Lovely, though more is not always better! I prefer less scene to capture a better perspective . A bit ‘busy’ for me!

Beautiful photo!

I like the layer on layer depth you achieve here. It is busy, I agree, but the busy-ness in this photo adds to the sense of depth/vista, IMHO. Even the dry to wet rocks in the foreground contribute.

Thanks so much for this one…
There is no canyon deeper on – although I can see that it can look that way. This stream just meanders through the mountains.

Lovely shot!

Beautiful shot; gorgeous scene. Not busy at all… It’s a landscape, not a macro…very tranquil. Nature is beautiful, and your image encompasses only a portion of this gorgeous Landscape!
