I like the colors you use here. Interestingly I can see that the mantis has three extra eyes the same as you see on dragon and damsel flies. I wonder if they are related.

The coloring of the backgournd is phenomenol! So rosy, so pretty. What a contrast it is considering the desperation that must have been experienced by the entrapped creature pinned in this death lock. This photo lets us experience this other world in a way that our own eyes could not provide.
