Caribbean Reef Shark
by Alastair Pollock
Caribbean Reef Shark at Tiger Beach in the Bahamas.
This is one of my favourite shots from the trip. We had ordinary visibility for this dive, but as i was doing my safety stop, clear water washed through near the surface. I was able to photograph this group of sharks in the clear water just before getting back onto the boat.

Thanks very much for your kind comments.
Christine, the image was shot on a Nikon D700 with a 16-35mm Nikon lens (at 16mm) housed in a Subal housing. I used dual Ikelite strobes (DS 125 and DS 160) on manual both set to their lowest settings (1/4 and 1/8). ISO 400, shutter speed 1/160, ~f13.
Regards,
Alastair
