What is casting that shadow? Two more from me!

2nd November 2010 at 7:36 am

wow what an unusual perspective!

2nd November 2010 at 8:16 am

@Geana: The shadow is caused by the mountain at sunrise! You see the same from Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

What an unworldly feeling this elicits! It must have felt fantastic, standing above the clouds!

Aptly titled, too. I’ve been above the clouds a time or two, awesome feeling…gee a lot of us used the word “awesome!”

Great shot indeed. I really like your idea of getting the shadow on the clouds. it is not a usual shot.

2nd November 2010 at 9:13 pm

Very cool. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a photo of something like that. Is it sunrise or sunset?

3rd November 2010 at 12:45 am

What a great and unusual shot.

3rd November 2010 at 9:50 am

Interesting shot; there must be another peak hidden by cloud that is casting that shadow.
