Currituck

by Ian Plant

This dizzying view was taken inside of Currituck Beach light. I climbed up and down the lighthouse several times in order to find an angle that best showcased the spiral staircase.
Equipment: Canon 5DII, 14-24mm lens

Very nice image. Nice to see an image taken with the 5DII, as I have just ordered one after 4 great years with the 5d classic and can see I won’t be disappointed with IQ.

Nice spiral, and you were lucky to have the checkerboard at the bottom as well as good light!

This appears to be a surreal eye at first. I imagine it to be one of your favorite shots.
