Waves of Green

by Bill McFall

The curving lines on these tropical leaves create an interesting wave-like pattern. The Conservatory of Flowers resides contains many interesting tropical plants such as orchids, pitcher plants, and bromiliads.

I've been shooting nature photography for around 25 years and still get a rush when searching for a beautiful landscape. I enjoy sharing my love of nature with other people. My focus is in landscape photography but will venture into other areas as they present themselves to me. I welcome any comments, good or bad about my work.

That’s beautiful. Almost looks like a painting. I love the way you’ve captured just the black and the green shades.

I forgot to include the location of the Conservatory of Flowers. It is located in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California.

Wonderful image – and I was wondering if it was San Francisco from your description. It is a great place to photograph! Top notch shot.
