Great Capture. I think its a little bit dark, maybe some more exposure would do but the subject is incredible.

This is so cool. I knew dolphins followed ships but I didn’t know that their relatives the orcas did the same.

I love how it looks like one with three shadows! Grew up in Orca country, never saw them surfing – probably because Puget Sound doesn’t get that rough!

In the Bering Sea, we had a whole pod of 12+ orcas following our small fishing vessel for several hours and picking halibut off our lines like berries off a bush. It is a crazy feeling to be on a ship just larger than these creatures and to have them so close and charging under the ship.

An amazing shot, great that you had your camera handy. We just had a pod of Orca’s in our harbour, they are majestic creatures
