Light Bend

by Ian Plant

This image was taken on a still autumn day at the peak of fall color. A slight ripple on the water's surface adds a hint of abstraction to the reflection. To ream more about the story behind this image, visit my daily photoblog.

This is a fantastic photo. Good eyes, good angles, and color. Picturesque, needless to say :)

Oh Wow. Great shot. The reflections, the color, the angle make this a one in a lifetime capture. Thanks Ian.

Very beautiful. The way the angle of the trees interacts with the angle of the cliff, combined with the stunning reflection is very striking indeed!

What a fascinating shot! It took me a few seconds to figure it out, like a trompe-l’oeil, but once I got it I was stunned. Congratulations, Ian.

It’s a hold your breath photo…. and let it out slowly…in case you cause a ripple.

I was mesmerised. Indeed, we are all so lucky to have
incredibly talented people willing to share their photographs with us. Indeed,we live in a place of
true beauty.
