I agree that there is an impressionistic effect to this photo–perhaps because the slightest breeze makes the aspen leaves quiver. Where ever it is, North Lake seems like my kind of place!

Living in south Texas with mostly palm trees, this is a wonderful reminder of the changing seasons as I grew up in Germany. I am in my seventies now, but I still miss the fall colors. Very nice picture!
