Cow racing is one of culture in West Sumatra, Indonesian. These activities are usually held before the time of planting, there is no reward in fighting, just a champion cow can be sold more expensive than the market price.

I wonder what the cows think of this; they seem happy enough to be running rather than just chomping grass in a field all day, bored like they are where I live.

The capture is indeed excellent…however, I wonder is there no other way to anchor the yokes than with a bungee cord through the nostrils???
