Mossbrae Falls

by Jared Ropelato

This is a completely different shot from the Mossbrae Falls area. It's an oft left out, far left section of the falls, and while not as beautiful in a "complete majestic falls" sort of way, its definitely beautiful in its own right. I tried to include more of the whole scene here with the river in view as well to give a feel for the sense of place and not just the face of the more gorgeous area. Canon 5DMKII Canon 16-35mm @ 23mm Iso 50 f/22 10 sec Singh-Ray 2 stop soft edge GND Singh-Ray 3 stop reverse GND Both slightly staggered

This is a lovely picture but you don’t tell us where Mossbrae is. Is it in Scotland?

Pauline, Mossbrae is in Dunsmuir, California. On his website, Jared keys the photos to location–a nice resource.

I imagine we might find fairies and nymphs here. This looks so fresh and restful–a magical place.
