Marsh Wren
by Matt Bango
Walking through a marsh and listening to the rattling trill call of the Marsh Wren is an experience that will last a life time. I've tried to capture this experience as the Marsh Wren is in the midst of his call.

Great shot. I’ve been trying for 3 years for a shot of this bird. Always hiding in the marsh grass, heard and rarely seen. I know that I’m within 10 feet of one but they are always camera shy.

This is very well done, especially as it was hand held. Wrens are shy creatures; you did well to capture one.

Perfect shot for any wren! They’re tiny but LOUD!
Really great for a hand-held photo.
