I like the cloud on the top of the mountain; Iceland seems a very interesting place.

The clouds, the green and water make a beautiful combination. Well done John and Tina!

A beautiful place perfectly captured. I love the angle you chose, highlighting the small clumps of grass in the foreground and then that majestic mountain. Great job! Iceland has splendorous landscapes. Can’t wait to get back there for another visit.

Thanks for comments everyone. The Eastfjords of Iceland seems to get less attention from photographers and I suspect that has something to do with the fog. In 6 days there, we had about an hour with enough clarity to shoot wide landscapes, but when it came, it was worth the wait.

Perfect title for this magical image.

Impressive part of the world, and so very nicely captured here.

This is not what most people think of as Iceland. I like this image–could be straight out of a science fiction movie/strange creatures lurking in the fog at the peak………….Thanks for your patience–a shot worth the wait.

The fog adds to the magic of the scene, nice work, guys!

Thanks again for the comments – Katherine, I’m really happy about your comment. My goal when I travel is to try come back with some untypical pictures

Great picture! The mountain is named “Austurhorn,” Icelandic for “East point,” and it is the focus of my Master’s geological research
. A magical place indeed!!
