Nape Nape Sunset
by Michael Treloar
Nape Nape, South Island, New Zealand. Sunset
Hidden away on the east coast of the South Island, not far from Cheviot.
With it's white pancake shaped rocks it's a prefect location for sunset and sunrise.
Equipment: Nikon D200

New Zealand landscape photographer. I've spent the last 12 years traveling through out my own country, and a few other places in the world.
I love my wide angle lens, and try and capture as much as I see.

I see I’m not the only one who’s first thought was “ethereal!” Love it, the subtle colors and contrasts and the misty parts.

I love the dark sand – is it black like you find on Iceland’s beaches? the contrast with the white rocks is quite sharp.
