Grass Fire Sunset

by Scott Moss

A grass fire on the INEL land makes for an interesting sunset over the wheat fields of Southern Idaho

I hope the fire didn’t reach these fields; it would be a tragedy to lose these crops.

What a great shot. The composition puts you right in the middle of the event and allows you to get a real feel for what nature is all about.I’ve seen Scott progress rapidly over the last two years and really look forward to what the future holds.

Don’t know much about Idaho so thanks for this interesting photo. Would be good to know if this is indeed a crop or wild grass for grazing. Do they burn the fields intentionally for agriculture or was the fire a natural result of lightning hitting dry grass or something else? Just curious… Very nice shot!
