Graceful Tree Frog

by Nicolas Rakotopare

Working on frog monitoring sites I found this little Litoria gracilenta and it's red eye looked really photo-appealing. It's winter in Australia now and this site only had 2 frogs so I was happy to get a picture of this one.

He’s adorable! Now I feel bad that I chose a couple of frog legs from the Chinese buffet for dinner……………ooooohhh. Wonderful photo–nice work.

I feel like the frogs toes in this picture make it what it is. They’re so bright and monocolored. Really jumps out. Beautiful photo <3

Great details on him. I like his colors.

He is beautiful; looks a little torpid, maybe because of the temperature.

Beautiful creature. You captured in great light and colors. Would you tell us next time about the frog monitoring part? Are they disappearing?

Thanks all for the comments. This species is not endangered but i happend to find it while looking for the vulnerable Litoria olongburensis (I was helping with the data collection, not my project).
