A Mara Male

Lions are active mostly at dawn and dusk, when the light shines it's best too. One morning when there did not appear to much on offer at the Masai Mara in Kenya, we came upon this guy and his lioness partner. As we were watching, he looked right through me, and so I took his picture.

The wind was blowing in unison with the light of dusk. The combination of elements give some sensation of synergy I suppose Excellent shot, and I liked the caption too

Fantastic shot. Great expression on the lion’s face. “Sepia” tones are my favorite for portraits such as this.

Brilliant shot. He looks so regal, and yet has a sad look to his eyes. I love the detail you captured, and his mane framing his face with a bit of movement. Congratulations. I know how hard it is to capture a shot like this, well done!
