A Day to Remember
by Andy Fox
On my way home from a disappointing day in March 2010 I stumbled across this and my heart started racing and I spent the next hour trying to get this. As you can see I did. What you can see it the slope of the beach which causes the waves to gracefully wander past the rock. The sky was not much so I cropped it out. I hope people enjoy this as much as I have.

Very interesting image! It is always great to find a gem on a day that looks like the weather or light is just not there.

An extraordinary shot. It looks like a submarine coming up. Very nice indeed. Where is this?

You had the patience ( even with a bad day )to wait for the shot you wanted; Congrats.

Fantastic image and composition Andy. Having cropped out the sky it acts like an optical illusion – one minute it’s a small rock with an incoming wave behind it, next minute a monolith towering into a cloud-ridden sky.

I really like it! This is the type of shot I try to take, but my memories always outshine my photos.
Very nice color with subtle movement in the water. The sky was rightly cropped out–it is revealed by reflection in the water.

No Claudio, you’re not a pervert. This is oviously a vagina and that is why it appeals to so many people even if they do not consciously recognize it as such. But it is also a nice nature photo.

My eye travels throughout the Pic!!!

This is lovely, but … is the photographer REALLY completely unaware of how blatantly sexual this photo is?! Really? You didn’t notice?! Aieee.
